Bio
Cezar Lăzărescu (b. 1969) lives in Iași, Romania. A conceptual artist and a performer, he graduated from the “George Enescu” Academy of Arts in Iași and since 2001 he has been a founding member of the Vector Association. He shifted from being a performance author in the ‘90s and at the beginning of the 2000s, to art intervention, object art, installation art, photography, video and new media. His art has been exhibited in galleries and unconventional spaces and it is a reaction to the current social and political reality. His works are characterized by irony and humor.
